​Chris Simms is an analyst for NBC’s Football Night in America, co-hosts the daily PFT Live with Mike Florio. The Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast produces daily NFL and college football content exclusively for NBC Sports’ digital and social platforms.

Before joining NBC Sports in 2017, Simms served as a football game analyst for FOX Sports and NFL on CBS.

​Simms spent five years at Bleacher Report, co-hosting the digital program Simms and Lefkoe with Adam Lefkoe, and was also a part of Bleacher Report’s first weekly gambling focused show. Simms hosted Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft show on Facebook Live and served as an NFL analyst for Bleacher Report’s mobile app, “Team Stream”. Additionally, he provided NFL Power Rankings, Weekly Picks, Draft Analysis, Free Agent Analysis, Award Predictions and more.

​Prior to his path in broadcasting, Simms’ career as an NFL quarterback included stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos from 2003-2010. He also served as a coaching assistant for the New England Patriots in 2012. Simms played collegiate football at the University of Texas (1999-2002) and was named USA Today’s High School Offensive Player of the Year in 1998. He is the son of former New York Giants quarterback and Super Bowl XXI MVP Phil Simms.

​Simms has served as a brand ambassador for BetMGM, GEICO, Walmart, Lowe’s Home Improvement, BestBuy and Downy.

Simms lives in Connecticut with his wife Danielle and two children.
